Meet this pretty little girl who is discovering love. Playful and energetic Pip freezes into a statue when petting begins. She will curl up on a lap for belly rubs. In between love sessions this 20 month border collie loves to throw toys around, chew and watch the squirrels. She likes other dogs and gets along well with her foster brother, but will needs proper introduction to new dogs as she can come on a little strong. When excited she will chatter her teeth and grin, but don't confuse that with agression, she is just showing her excitement. She sometimes shows a little herding behavior with her foster brother, but calls off easily when corrected. Pip began life on a farm but is adjusting splendidly to being a pet. She is crate trained and does well in the car. She would love to be allowed to sleep in bed with her people! She responds well to commands and is learning basic commands as well as polite leash walking. A medium to high energy border collie Pip will need a few sessions of exercise and stimulation throughout the day and a border collie savvy home. Her athleticism and eagerness to please would make her a fabulous agility dog. Pip will need a above ground fence to keep her safe. She is being fostered in the KC/KS area.
