Ernie and his siblings were abandoned in a bag in rural Oklahoma. They were found by someone who cared enough to help them get into rescue. Three of the puppies, Bert, Ernie, and Abby, were transferred into MoKan BC Rescue. All of the puppies were treated for fleas, ticks and worms. The 3 in Mokan are healthy and active and will be altered on Dec. 28.

Ernie is the biggest of the 3 and he has a big personality to go along with his size. Ernie does everything with great gusto. He was the first to venture down the stairs, the first to climb onto a rock, the first to follow me down the driveway and the first to escape through the baby gate into the rest of the house. He likes to rough and tumble with his littermates and would definitely be a good addition to the Chiefs offensive line. He has a loving side too and will not refuse attention. He is a smart boy, a quick learner and a lover of treats. Ernie goes for toys in a big way and he is very good at destuffing them. Ernie and his sibs are working on housetraining and easily crate up. They sleep 8 hours at night without waking up and their crate has been dry in the morning.

Ernie is photogenic and doesn’t mind posing for a picture.
