Nova didn't have the kindest start to life but Mokan was able to bring her into foster and bring out her smile, and this sweet girl hasn't looked back since. She is young, approximately 7-8 months old, and is full of typical puppy energy and personality, and makes her foster family laugh every single day. She has adapted quickly to home life and tackled things like potty training, crate training and 'scary' stairs in no time at all.

Her favorite pastimes include snuggling with her humans, pestering her foster brother into wrestling matches, sitting for treats and learning new things, and stealing whatever toy her foster brother is currently playing with. She has the sweetest eyes that will stare directly into your soul and is incredibly affectionate, loves being loved on and giving kisses in return. She sleeps soundly in her kennel every night and doesn't have an aggressive bone in her, she's just a little gem.

Nova's new family will need to continue helping her curb her puppy behavior and keep a watchful eye on her to set her up for her best success. For example, while she knows she's only allowed to chew on her toys she has twice on occasion mistaken the carpet that the toy was on for a chew toy as well. She stops instantly upon correction but she is a young dog and is still learning, and also learning that the wide world is not the scary place that she experienced in the first few months of her life, so her new family will need to be patient.

This little girl has been so, so fun to have in foster. She's spunky and playful but also just an adorable little love bug. Her curly coat and beauty marks give her a very unique look, and while she's currently at 35lbs she is expected to max out around 40-45lbs. Her new home should have a fenced yard to keep her safe, and ideally a playful animal or human sibling or two to learn from and to help exercise her. She is spayed and up to date on her immunizations.

Nova is being fostered in the Bentonville, AR area.
