Lily is a 6 1/2 month old Border Collie mix. She was picked up as a stray and spent 8 days alone in a small, unmanned shelter, unclaimed. Lily was returned by her foster when her "herding" instincts kicked in.

She was returned by her adopter within 24 hours because she didn't think it was a good fit. This was Lily's life before she was 6 months old.

Lily is a sweet  and loving little girl. She is a fast learner, very attentive and eager to please. Lily is house broken, and crate trained. She is coming along wonderfully on obedience training. She is nondestructive in the house.

Lily is a quiet girl but will let you know with a big bark when visitors are coming. She loves car rides, walks and meeting new friends (people and dogs). Lily loves playing ball, tug of war, running in the yard and snuggling with her people. She loves ice cubes and a peanut butter Kong.

Lily is an active puppy and would do best with a fenced in yard. She will need a little refresher on house breaking in her new home. Lily would be happy as an only fur baby or with a companion dog her size because of her Border Collie tendencies. She is great with adults and would be good with older children. Lily is spayed, fully vetted, microchipped, heart worm negative and on monthly prevention.

Lily is being fostered in the St. Louis Mo area.
