Hello my name is Cooper. I am a 10 month old mini Australian Shepherd Border Collie mix. I came from a home where I lived with several other dogs where we were crated in a small kennel together for long hours.

My foster mom says I am happy, lovable little guy at 23 lbs and 15 inches at the shoulder. I really enjoy learning new commands/tricks and am eager to please. I am easy going, fun loving, social kind of puppy. I know how to "SIT DOWN", "COME", "LIE DOWN" and "SIT UP" when asked. I am working on the harder ones "WAIT" and "LEAVE IT". I love walking on a leash because I like meeting new friends, people and dogs. I am not destructive in the house and will keep you company whenever you go. I enjoy going on car rides and up for any new adventures! Foster mom talks about running, hiking, camping, obedience classes, it all sounds like great fun!! My favorite thing though, is playing with dog friends, foster sisters or my toys. It is fun to run with a toy and everyone chases ! I do love belly rubs and snuggles with my foster mom too.

My foster mom says I will be the perfect family dog. I don’t bite, or nip, but I do love giving lots of kisses. I can be very bouncy when you first come home because I am so happy to see you, but then remember my manners and settle down. I love lots of play and fun, so would love a fenced yard. I would be happy with a companion dog or as your only dog. I have seen cars at the vet, but they really don’t interest me.
