Meet Foxtrot: Your Future Best Friend!

Foxtrot is a handsome, playful, and intelligent 10-month-old Border Collie in search of his forever home. Having bounced between two shelters in Kentucky and an adoption that didn’t last, he’s now in a loving foster home in Missouri. But what he really wants is a family to call his own!

This 35-pound bundle of joy is resilient and friendly, with an infectious enthusiasm for life. Foxtrot adores children and eagerly runs to the fence, crying with excitement when he sees the neighbor kids come out to play. He showers them with kisses and loves making new friends, both human and furry—even cats!

Housetrained and kennel trained, Foxtrot is a smart pup who rings a bell when he needs to go out. He’s an athletic boy who thrives on play, particularly fetch, and might be an excellent fit for someone looking for a sporty companion like agility . He enjoys walks, hikes, and is a great car traveler.

Foxtrot’s playful spirit shines through in his zoomies, often followed by a dramatic flop onto the floor as if he’s exhausted. When it’s time to sleep, he loves to snuggle into his blankets, sometimes suckling them until he drifts off—often on his back with all four legs spread out, ready for belly rubs at any moment.

He would thrive in a home with another playful dog but would also be perfectly happy as the only dog, provided he gets plenty of love and attention. Foxtrot is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, on preventatives, and microchipped. He is being fostered in St. Joseph, MO.
