Ollie is a 1 year old smooth coat red tri border collie.  He is smart, handsome and playful. He gets along well with his canine siblings and although a bit obsessed with the felines he has found himself currently residing with, he doesn't chase and has a healthy respect when they say to back off.  Ollie is crate trained and housebroken, loves chew toys and balls.  He is becoming more food motivated and cheese is his very favorite treat!

All of this is in spite of the fact that it seems he was likely mistreated and neglected for most of his young life.  An injury to his foot not properly treated for some time resulted in his rear leg having to be amputated when he came into rescue.  Having 3 legs doesn't slow him down at all! He can chase balls, bunnies and squirrels with the best of them.  It understandably takes time for Ollie to trust new people and situations but once he does, he's all tail wags and snuggles.  Men will have to work a little harder to earn his trust and he will need a home with no young children. But once this boy trusts you, they payoff is big when you get to see his full personality emerge. 

Ollie is average size for a male border collie and should be around 40-45 pounds when he finishes putting on needed weight.  He is neutered and current on vaccines and preventative.  He will need a home with a fence to keep him safe.
